After a nice long Easter weekend, we had our own Easter lunch on Wednesday. Britta and Rosanne from the activity commission had bought an extensive amount of sandwich filling and bread/baguettes. On the 2nd of October we went to the pooling center in Wageningen to show that we are not only good in gymnastics, but also in other activities. On the 25th of September the first activity of this college year took place, a potluck dinner! Everyone brought something to eat and we had a great evening together. It was also a good chance to get to know the new members.
On Sunday during the AID the Sports Market took place. Some Splitters stood at this market and promoted Split and the other half gave clinics in the Bongerd. On Friday the 8th of June our GNSK weekend in Wageningen started, which we back than only could presume would be a great weekend. At first we had some delicious curry at Bart’s’ house, afterwards we transformed the gymnasium into a professional gymnastics hall. To start the last period with some fun, we went to a climbing forest. We had the park all to ourselves so we could do all 4 routes. Unlike the previous competitions this year, Utrecht was quite nearby. The start was however early in the morning, and Bart had some troubles with that. After the ALV from monday, some Split members went bowling in Ede on Tuesday 🎳. It was a fun activity and we all had a good time !
