Last Wednesday on the 15th of January, the split Christmas dinner took place, better late than never :p. On the 4th of December we celebrated Splitterklaas, so that Sinterklaas had enough time to give other people presents on his real birthday. First everybody got lost due fog which made the location difficult to find. On the 23th of November the first competition of this year took place! This year’s NSTC1 was once again a big succes. With 15 medals for SPLIT we had a great kickoff for the year. On the 19th of November Split turned 28! We celebrated in typical Dutch children’s birthday party style. We started with decorating our own cupcake, which of course was a big success. It all started on October the 30th at eight pm. After getting through the maze that took you to room 759 in Forum, you could prepare for the Splitquiz by having a drink and grab some snacks that were perfectly taken care of. After three weeks of open trainings the first activity of this schoolyear took place, the Splitlunch! It was an excellent moment to get to know each other a little better and to learn all the names. On the 3rd of July the assistant trainers were going to a tapas restaurant named La Cubanita in Ede. Because they were helping the Splitmembers the whole year, Split thought this was a nice way to thank them. And indeed, this was a nice way to thank, because the food was delicious! On the weekend of 14, 15 and 16 June the GNSK took place. Just like last year, gymnastics was one of the guest sports at the event. On the 12th of June the last activity of the year took place, the barbecue! In the afternoon, it was raining very hard, but fortunately Jordi’s weather forecast came true and in the evening, it was sunny and there was a blue sky. In the last weekend of May it was finally there… The NSK all round in Wageningen! It already started on Friday when everybody was eating together and helped with building up the apparatuses.
